In reply to Miriam. Hi Miriam. This is such a good question because for so many, cilantro tastes like soap to them also. I personally would either just eliminate it or replace with 1-2 teaspoons of ground coriander. If you choose to eliminate, you will still have the cumin and chili powder that will add wonderful flavor. I hope this helps and please let me know how it turns out.

I’m one of those unfortunates to whom cilantro tastes like soap. I often see cilantro paired with lime in recipes. So if I substitute parsley for cilantro, what do I do with the lime? Do I omit it? Substitute something else?

In reply to Michelle. LOL! I have been to Alabama and Tennessee in the summer and thought my throat was cut and I had mosquito bites the size of tennis balls all up and down my legs. Yeah...we travel to the south in the winter months now. Also thank you for pinning! I appreciate it ????!

All I could do was giggle reading about your lack of love for the heat. I pinned the recipe my husband would love it. And one more thing what ever you do DON’T COME TO HOUSTON TEXAS LOL. I actually live in Livingston Texas on the lake. The humidity and Heat you would hate. And the mosquitoes let’s just say they’re the size of Texas lol… ????
