I never thought to add green apples and macadamia nuts to butterscotch cookies but it totally works! The green apple provides the perfect tart counterbalance to the rich, buttery butterscotch flavors. And the macadamia nuts give each cookie such a great crunch. These are completely addictive and delicious.
