Heather, I just made this cake today and it’s a complete success! It looks identical to your photo! Even though I didn’t have lemon extract, it still came out delicious, and believe me, I’ve tried a few lemon cake recipes in my time. The texture on this one is perfect, not too dense, not too crumbly. Your pro tip about measuring flour made the difference, I will use that again for sure, thank you! I fluffed my flour with a whisk before measuring. Also, I use a silicone bundt pan, which is really wonderful as it needs no butter or anything at all to release the cake. Again, thank you for this beautiful recipe.

i have had wonderful results with the dismount of this wonderful cake by slathering the bundt pan with a generous amount of coconut oil, then lightly flour the pan before adding the cake batter. i have also made this with other extracts like lavender, orange, etc., with brilliant results! thank you for my new go-to bundt cake recipe!

The lemon powdered sugar frosting sounds like a delicious twist for next time. I love hearing how people make it their own!

Tried for the first time today and it turned out great! I used quite a bit of Crisco to grease my pan but also floured it. I didn’t read the full instructions for the glaze so it wasn’t exactly like it should have been but it tasted great anyway. When I make again, however, I will make a lemon powdered sugar frosting instead of the glaze.

The flavor of this cake is just delicious! A real hit with lemon-lovers. The only caveat was my top crust stuck to the inside of the bundt pan. Not to worry, though- I ate it out of the bundt pan with a silicone spatula! Yum.
