Hibiscus Pink Lemonade

Incredibly refreshing and tasty, this Hibiscus Pink Lemonade is better than anything you can purchase at your local coffee shop. Completely natural, caffeine free and very easy to make! This is the new hot drink of summer.

Ingredients

  • 6 heaping tsp dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice *about 10-12 lemons
  • 1 gallon good quality water

Instructions

  • In a med sized sauce pan bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling take off heat and add hibiscus flowers. Seep for 10 mins or until a deep rich hue has been achieved. Strain and add to a gallon sized pitcher. 
  • Meanwhile, in a separate saucepan bring to a boil 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water until sugar is dissolved, about 3-4 mins. Set Aside. 
  • Squeeze lemons and add to pitcher. Stir in simple syrup (sugar water) and fill the remaining amount of space in the pitcher with water. Stir well and chill until cold. 
    Stir again before serving.

*Please use as many organic ingredients as possible.
