Tortilla and Beans

  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1- 1 1/2 cups high heat oil
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese *shredded
  • 6-8 cups Hearty Homemade Chili
  • 6 cups Simple Coleslaw
  • 1 can black olives
  • salt & pepper to taste


  1. In a medium sized frying pan heat oil over med/high heat. Oil is ready when it bubbles around the end of wooden spoon or chopstick. Fry the tortillas 1 at a time, 2-3 mins per side or until golden brown. Place fried tortillas on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb extra oil.
  2. Serve fried tortilla on a plate with heated chili. Sprinkle with cheese and then add a scoop of coleslaw. Top with 1 or 2 black olives.
