Brussel Sprouts For Grilling

For the best tasting Grilled Brussel Sprouts make sure to choose young, smaller sprouts that are bright green. If they are turning yellow that is a sign of age and will tend to be much more bitter. Also, Brussel sprouts should be on the firmer side and heavy for their size.

Grilled Brussel Sprouts Without Skewers

You know those videos you see of perfectly grilled Brussel sprouts on skewers that look absolutely tempting and so easy to make? Well…they lied!

Have you ever tried to skewer a Brussel sprout? They are extremely challenging to skewer without causing bodily harm to yourself. Even when cut in  half, trying to thread Brussels sprouts onto skewers is like trying to wrestle a hyena. You won’t come out ahead.

Do yourself a favor and just skip the skewers altogether.
